A Decade in Fashion

New York based Fashion designer Roselyne Shiyenze of Shiyenze Fashion, is set to celebrate ten years in the industry this Summer, by hosting the biggest trunk show in New York. The exclusive event will showcase more than 90 pieces from the designer’s urban streetwear collection for industry professionals and international media.   

Plans are in place to invite local media and celebrities as well as key professionals in the international community. The event will also serve as a thank you to the fashion community who assisted in the growth of the Shiyenze brand; first establishing itself in Kenya and now entering the New York Fashion scene. 

The brand kicked off the year by attending its first online runway show in partnership with IMG at this year's New York Fashion Week. The runway show premiered the designer's “That’s Different” collection blending blues, whites and African-inspired designs into the central theme. The brand will also be seen at Brooklyn Fashion Week and Harlem Fashion Week.
